Looking for a southwest or tribal style block

1 Attachment(s)
Hi everyone,
I want to create a "tribal" or "southwest" style of quilt with feathers, flying geese and arrow. I'm looking for some geometric block to add to my design. I have in mind something like this (it`s a quilting design, but I would like to make a block like this). I don't know what to search because I have no idea how these block name are. Anyone can help me? Thanks!

I always go to Google. I just entered "Southwestern Blocks" and these designs appeared:

The first thing I noticed is that the angles had been changed to a friendlier HST. Be sure to click the left side of your mouse to go to the website to where the block came from. Good Luck and have fun.

There is a block called Squash blossom that looks a lot like that but not exact. Here is a link to google images. I am sure you can find a pattern for it. I believe Quilters Cache has one.

Edited to add I found quilters cache but it is a large block. http://www.quilterscache.com/S/SquashBlossomBlock.html

Additionally you could modify the block "Delectable Mountains" to get that look as well.

I'm more a strip girl than a HST girl, so the "Delectable Mountains" definitely appeal me :-) Thank you for the idea, didn't know the name of this block!

Whole lot of Southwestern sites. There's a quilt called Lantern? that has that pattern.

You can make squash blossom with strips instead of HST. I did the one in this quilt using strips (2nd block down on the far right, also done in southwest type colors of turquoise browns and tan background):

I am currently working on one called Navajo found in quilters cache. It is a big block that has over 50 pieces to a block. I am making it to be 5 X 6 blocks. If you like making hst this pattern is for you! I have 6 blocks completed so far.
