I'm looking for this square in a 12". Can someone recommend where I might find one please?

I don't know how to make it larger

I sure wish I knew what to say..... Hopefully someone that's been quilting longer can come up with something.... Good Luck. Let us know how it goes

I don't know where to find a bigger block online, but I can easily give you the measurements for making a 12" block if you would like. It's a beautiful block.

it looks like you can modify it to 2 inch squares to get your 12 inch block. the 4 patches in the corners would be 4 inches by 4 inches, or 2 inch squares. The large blue centers with half squares would also be 4 by 4. And the center block would be 4 by 4. All finished sizes of course. Add the 1/2 inch for seam allowances.

This will look silly but what I do to fix an image to the dimensions that I need is this: I make a printscreen save and then, I open my graphic design program (I use Paint Shop Pro), I paste the image in as a new image and then, I use the zooming tool until the size of the pieces is right.

What I do is:

Buy graph paper with .5" squares
Draw full 12" square
Then split it up into half - quarters -etc. however the original design is made. This will be the size of the finished block.

You can then trace individual templates adding a quarter inch seam allowance to the fabric. :D

Yup, Izy. That is just what I do. I make blocks into whatever size I'm wanting by just drawing it onto graph paper. Then cut out each piece, adding 1/4" seam. Sometimes I transfer it from graph paper onto the plastic template and add the seams then. Good luck. Practice makes perfect.
