Looking for tutorial

Recently I was in a site where a tut was shown using a 10" and 5" patch. Instead of cutting she folded and sewed. Hope this makes sense and someone knows what i am looking for . any help will be appreciated. With much thanks.

Was this the u-tube video??

My only concern for this pattern is the extra expense using cakes and charms but it is the thickness that is created with the folds that would concern me when quilting this top.

I saw the original tute a while back. Just seems to me a lot of waste. But ok for beginner. JMHO!

I think for a quick quilt idea - for a beginner - or for someone who has hand troubles that make cutting difficult - this could be a great method...
Also - i'd trim the folds along their edge to get rid of the "bump"...and i'd probably cut out the fabric behind the square to add to my scrap stash...but neither of those would have to be done nor would they take that much time.
