My DH was a meatcutter for years and was always cutting his fingers. The best treatment for sliced fingers he ever got was from an ER Doc that told him to soak it in soapy (dish soap) hot water for as long as he could stand to keep his hand in the water. We had to keep changing the water to keep it hot and he kept it in there for several hours. Took out all the soreness and it healed very quickly. That particular time he had sliced the end off one of his fingers with a lunchmeat slicer.

Cutting is the least thing I like most about quilting, so after rotary cutting for so long I decided its time for a cutter & dies. i still rotary cut but just not as often.

Yep - Did the same thing 2 years ago. Still have a flat place on the tip and no fingerprint there. Bled forever and hurt like heck. Please be careful, everyone. They really are dangerous blades.
