Thanks...I'm glad to know how much support I have.
It's been a rough road, but there comes a time when you have to look forward. I have the center panel for another quilt stretched out over my quilt frame. Every time I go into the sewing room, I smile because while it's not perfect, it's colorful and it makes me happy to know that soon, I'll have another project to hand quilt. I also know that a lot of really negative things that have happened in my life, have turned into positives when I look back. This one is going to be a toughie, but I really think that when I look back some day, I'll know that there was a good reason for this to happen. Janet |
Hinterland: I know you say you have made peace with this, but we all know it will still bother you. If I may suggest something?
All stataes have state fairs, etc. Most do quilt shows. I would go to the expense and effort of personally writing and sending a photo to the head of the fair or person in charge of that dept. and letting them know and asking them to be on the lookout for your quilt. I know we have our fair here in August, and I will keep an eye out for it and a few others from around the area that are on the missing list. People never cease to amaze me. So sad. Good luck. |
