What the H--- is a low volume quilt?Just say what it is without any NEW terminology.

I've always called this a soft quilt, meaning the fabrics are soft and pale, understated. I've made several simply because I enjoy the fabrics.

A low volume quilt is a quilt using a certain type of print in place of tonals or solids. The prints used are mostly soft colored background, with a little bit of a subtle design in either a muted or bright color, and they read as solids from a distance.
