Thanks for the info, I will check this out. I am not as diligent about checking for USA as I should be, but I'm trying to do better.

Thanks. I love to shop USA when I can.

Sometimes it's very difficult to purchase something made in the USA. Our country seems to be moving away from manufacturing and toward service and information techologies.

Thanks for the heads up, I'd buy made in USA if it were available.

Still no mention of Blank Textiles being milled in the US. Not on any of the US lists.

Connecting Threads never did manufacture in the US. They send US cotton outside the country to make their fabrics. They have been clearer in that fact lately.

There is a website...buyamerican.com where supposedly all manufacturers/crafters items are made in the USA. Ran into the person operating the website in a very odd manner, so no affiliation, just passing on the info. Just went there to verify address and the site is a bit funky but categories are listed to the right of the page to make navigation a bit easier. Just passing on the info to those who may be interested.

I am working on a quilt right now and the fabrics are from Blank Textiles (printed on the selvage). I had never heard of them before but the fabric is beautiful and wonderful colors.

I went to this web site and liked many of the fabrics, but I can't find the price per yard or where to buy from them

I'm going to call them later.

I didn't think we had any mills left here so I GOOGLEDthe mill. They are BLANK TEXTILES INC, second generation in Irvington NY, USA. I bought some very nice looking black (Michael Miller is my usual "go to" black) that didn't bleed much when washed and it was $4.99 yd. I am not affiliated with either of these companies. Just thought it might interest folks. They are wholesale but their website has some beautiful fabric lines. Am going to ask my LQS's to look into them. Thanks and HAPPY QUILTING.... hope everybody is dry and warm.. Raining like MAD right now in MESA, AZ with reports of local snow showers...HEY! But it's a DRY snow!!! lol !! FREE SEW DAY !!! wahoo!

Am really lucky - In Stephens City, VA is a small quilt shop that is owned by the wife and sister in law ( as I am told) of the Regional Sales Rep for Blank Fabrics. (Shop is the CLOTH PEDDLER on Main St for anyone nearby). Delightful people, history buffs (what else in this area of Civil War Battlefields?)......and they carry a decent selection of manufacturers......However, their prices for the Blank Fabrics is just about the same as it is for others like Hoffman or Moda - running $11 to $12 per yard.........It is still a nice shop, and they have a good sales rack where all fabrics are $6.00 or less per yard.........
