I went to Joann's with my coupons yesterday looking for the lil twister ruler or a 3 1/2" square, and found Fons and Porters Fussy Cut Template set, it works great! I got it 50% off with my coupon, it comes with 5 different sizes from 2 1/2" to 6 1/2" clear squares. I marked it with a sharpie and cut out my scrappie lil twister quilt. All you have to do is mark it l/4" bigger as you go up in size. I marked it according to a thread on this board. And I can also use them to fussy cut squares, 2 for the price of one, I always try to get more than 1 use out of a specialty ruler. Also I noticed they had a Shape cut ruler by either June Taylor or Ominigram, can't remember which that had different sizes on it. It was more than the F&P's plus you couldn't use it for fussy cutting, which is also what I wanted. I hope someone can use this info. I call my quilt the Ugly quilt, but I hope to do more, they are fun.
