Didn't we all know that quilts are magic?

Thanks for the story. My 2nd son was like that too. Now at 32 he's still a man of few words & a much deeper thinker than his mother!

My grandson, 17 months old, says "mama", "dadda", "hi" (for hello and good-bye), and various sounds, but nothing that is repeatable. I am making him a quilt with cars, trucks, dogs, and planes; lots of colors. I am hoping that a similar experience will take place. You are blessed! :-D

My daughter (now 29) learned her colors on a Cathedral Windows quilt that i had made when i was in high school. i still have that quilt today and she wants it. She wont get it until i fix all the little "torn" pieces that have popped up over the years.

:)
