What a wonderful story.

Great story. However, it reminds me of the quote from some wise person (unfortunately, I don't know who) New parents spend the first 2 years teaching their children to walk and talk and the next 16 years trying to get them to sit down and shut up. LOL

My mom always made quilts from scraps of our clothing----we loved picking out our own----my kids did too and now I tell my grandchildren the story of the quilt.

My daughter teaches special needs children, and I'm thinking about making her an I SPY quilt for her classroom, now. Thanks for the inspiration.

Some people are just like that aren't they? It's great when they're paired up with folks like me. My Dad used to say I was vaccinated with a phonograph needle. :D

Wasn't it Einstein who didn't talk til he was a much older toddler? Just because they don't speak doesn't mean they don't know the words. Some kids are naturally quiet then there are kids you wish would just shush!
