Found this helpful tip and thought WHY OH WHY had I not thought of it along time ago
To make rotary cutting easier, l use an old TV stand that swivels (like a lazy susan). No need to move your fabric to turn! |
A lot cheaper too!

Fabulous idea. Thanks.

Great idea! Heavier duty than some of the lazy susan's too :D:D:D

Will it be sturdy enough? ie: the rotating part on the bottom only covers a portion of the bottom so if you cut a piece that is bigger than that portion is the surface going to wobble since the pressure won't be evenly distributed?

I have one of those end tables that the top swivels, in the craft room, guess I will need to uncover it, thanks for the idea.

I glued a mat to a lazy susan before buying the mat, it was fine for what it was but the rotating mats are so much better.

I am not sure as I do not have one yet but I would assume if it was for tv in would be on a solid base and not tip.
