Im planning to make a "roller blind" design wall. Has anyone made one? Would appreciate any suggestions. I found a nice roller that is about 65" wide, and I thought it would be good as it would out of the way - the foam boards would be hard to store, so Im opting for this method.
Do I need to attach a fabric, such as flannel? If so, how? spray adhesive? thanks for any input |
Window shade material can be sewn through as well using a leather needle on your machine. You could just take a piece of wide felt and sew it to the shade cloth and you would be set!

sounds like a great idea, and fast too... another trip to Joanns for the needle and felt!!!

I ironed mine on with fusible interfacing.

Everyone has such wonderful ideas.
Thanks UglyCook. I'm going to copy yours and put it above my closet doors. |
Ugly Cook, was your fusible interfacing complete with grid when you purchased it? I have some that I bought and did not use for a watercolor type project. I might be able to use your idea for a temporary design wall in my sewing area.
