Eleanor Burns' technique is REALLY easy-- makes two at a time. Go to her website and do a search for it.

This is what I do. You don't need the special rulers, but it was a lot faster after I got them.

polyparrot, beautiful quilts. Just love them. I use half square units.

I have recently made two flying geese quilts. Eleanor Burns flying geese ruler works very well. Also, Deb Tuckers ruler works well also.

I have both Eleanor Burns and Jodi Barrows rulers...they both work great but Jodi's are faster and I feel more accurate.....her rulers are really worth the money!

This is the best method that I've found and no waste.

There was just a Great tutorial on the board that it's too late for you to use, but you sew strips together then cut your hst out of that and they are already made. That sure is a ton of hst!! I believe the Tut was the "Wonder Ruler"
