BellaBoo 05-12-2010 04:26 AM

It's about two hours from me. My guild has car trips there every so often. We buy the flat fold bundles for our community service quilts. It's fun to go see it all.

JenniePenny 05-12-2010 04:31 AM

What a place indeed! Too bad I'm so far away. Thank you for sharing with us.

kylenstevesmom 05-12-2010 04:32 AM

mmmm I just googled this place and it's only and 18 hour drive from my house.... Think anyone would notice if I took a road trip!!!

Since my last name is Marshall I'd LOVE to check it out someday....

Barbm 05-12-2010 04:53 AM

HOLY COW!!!! I think I would have died and gone to heaven with that many choices! My fingerprints would be worn off from touching.

Do you go there? How do you restrain yourself????

beachlady 05-12-2010 05:05 AM

Marsye, do you give tours??? I would have to spend days there!!! Do they take orders over the net? Will check out their website. Trying to make us jealous this Wednesday morning!!!!

pam1966 05-12-2010 05:06 AM

I soooooo want to go there!!!!

brookemarie19 05-12-2010 05:09 AM

My, My... I just looked at what you can get online too, and they have great prices. Has anyone bought the quilters 108" blenders? I have been searching for MONTHS for a black marble looking fabric for a quilt, and was wondering what the quality is as I will also be using a batik jelly roll for the quilt. Is the shrinking tremendous with that size... never bought anything that was wider than 44"

sandpat 05-12-2010 05:10 AM

Hmmmm.....next trip in that direction....I'm thinking we'll have to tack on at least 1 extra DAY for that!

beachlady 05-12-2010 05:11 AM

Only one day Patti?

DebsShelties 05-12-2010 05:16 AM

I just placed an online order - first time with them. Many things were um out of stock? when I clicked to see if it was avail to buy.
Busy place I guess.

dkabasketlady 05-12-2010 05:20 AM

I wish I lived closer and got the better deals than offered online as Marsye gets, but maybe sometime in the future. Have to convince DH that my stash is almost gone and can't make anything else unless I get to go there and buy, buy, buy, lol!! I live in FL., we'll see what he says about that!

Its usually in stock if you call them!

DebsShelties 05-12-2010 05:26 AM

This was the $2.99 blenders that showed out of stock, there were several that I would have liked to purchase in multi yards.
I did have fun shopping.
Got one piece 2 yards of a 108 blender to use for backing on a project.
Also got smaller 45 inch blenders in yard to 3 yard.

I have bought their blenders backing a few times. I really like it and can't beat the price. Service has always been fast.

Lisa_wanna_b_quilter 05-12-2010 06:58 AM

I don't think I could ever make a decision there. I'd just keep walking in circles looking for something I liked better.
