Well, I'm the odd man out here. I prefer the square blocks. Not because I think the quilts should be the same, but I just like the look of it better.

I like rhem both :) I don't think little girls would notice a small difference such as that. So i vote for snowballs, too. Please be sure to post the finished quilt.

Another vote for the snowballs. That way the youngest will always spot hers right off.
