I am finding that this message board is very addictive. BUT I am learning so much, finding so much inspiration and encouragement among the members. I'm new here and I am enjoying every hour I spend reading the posts and viewing the awesome quilt photos. Thanks everyone for some very enjoyable time.

It sure is. I'd probably get more sewing done if I didn't spend time here. I've tried to limit it to morning and evening and sew during the day!

YES IT IS...lol thats exactly why you don't see to many posts from me these days...I found I was spending hours sitting here reading & responding and not sewing or much of anything else for that matter..I miss all the daily happenings but also like how much i seem to be getting accomplished...:}

I've given myself permission to not feel guilty about the time I spend on QB. Yes, It uses up some of my time but I have never been so productive either. All the ideas and pictures inspire me to create and add lots of things to my "Bucket List". :D

I'm with you. I'm really inspired by the talent on this board. Since I have joined my list of "want to do" projects has gone up quite a bit. LOL I have to say the people on the board are really friendly too.

I start my day with a cup of coffee and this board. Just isn't the same without it.

Yes, this board is very addictive but with great benefits! It's only through reading posts on this board of what all of you are confident enough to do to clean and recondition your machines that gave me the courage to try bringing my 40+ yr old machine back to life. It had sat for nearly 10 yrs and it didn't work, but one day I decided if all the QB members can do it, I can too. And I did!! I hauled that machine out, cleaned and oiled everything I could, played with the tension and walaaa she runs like new! And ONLY because of this board! Thank you Thank you Thank you! This is one addiction I can enjoy without guilt!

Me, too. It's my morning relaxation and my afternoon relaxation and my evening relaxation. :-D

that's what I do too....when the coffee's done, I have to quit (sometimes). If I don't finish reading in the morning, I'll continue when I have my afternoon coffee

I agree. What am I going to do when I go back to school in two weeks? I will miss logging on in the morning. Now I will have to teach math instead. Don't get me wrong, I love teaching but it has been so nice to be on this site. I guess I know what I will do after school.
