Jackson is off of I-40, about an hour east-northeast of Memphis and about two hours south-southwest of Nashville.
The quilt shop that SandPat is probably liking is Sew Many Ideas. I spend way too much time and $$$ there. :D |

Murfreesboro would be a good place to meet. Not as big as Nashville and it's right on the interstate.

I took a look at map quest and the only city that I could see that is about halfway between Memphis and Nashville is a small town named Holladay. A quick Google says population is about 1900, but they do have a Days Inn, 2 stars w/ rooms $50/night.
Do you want to meet up, bring machine, and have a "sew" fest? |
