Everyone, you probably know what a hard time Sharon and her husband are going through as he recovers from a stroke.

The Chat Girls thought sending Sharon some signed blocks to make into a quilt would be a thoughtful and supportive gift.

We picked the Antique Tile block from Quilter's Cache, which is an easy 12" block. Please substitute white for the center so it can be signed by you, and make up the rest of the block in blue and white. Here is the link - http://quilterscache.com/A/AntiqueTileBlock.html

She just recently painted her bedroom blue, so an all blue and white quilt will look spectacular right? Besides "Blue is THE color for 2008."

I would LOVE to do one. Just so happen to have a stash of blue as she is in my birthday block group also. And I happen to agree that blue is the best color for anything, anytime.

Does Sharon need the work of putting it together or should some of us and they get the finished product?

Count me in, I have blues as she is in my birthday block groups so will get to it when I have an hour to myself. :)

I an not sure I will do another blk but have a suggestion. Maybe we can do 1 or either. We all know she is away from home and staying in a hotel maybe we could send gift cards or $5 to $10 in cash to help w/ her costs of food , hotel. Just a suggestion!!!!
