I hope you find it. I read your post how it disappered after you had a houseful of people. I can't imagine a guest in my home leaving with one of my quilts. While I like to give people the benefit of the doubt I can't see how a quilt could be "accidently" taken. How violated and betrayed you must feel not to mention the anguish of losing this teasure.

post a picture everywhere. many forums and of course on missingquilts. good luck. maybe some of your family members will cough it up yet. or at least tell you what happened to it.

I would send out a card with photo to ALL house guests and make clear you're not accusing anyone in particular, but note that someone must have picked it up by accident and to please "look" for it.

If you are on Facebook, you could post a pic there and a message like above.

Yep, I would agree. You don't want everyone to think they are being accused of stealing. You might also ask if perhaps some one put it away for you.
