I got mine yesterday, the 11th. What a beautiful publication. Jenny is always amazing. Most of those designs are on her videos. Nice to have back-up.

I am curious, everyone is saying it is more like a book. Does that mean the size of the pages are like a book? Some magazines can be large in dimensions, so perhaps this one is 8" by 10" or so? I will find out soon enough when mine arrives.

When I came home just now, I found the BLOCK wanting for me! I just glanced through it, and it is beautiful! It is as lovely as a soft bound quilt book with readable text and terrific pictures. Can't wait to read it through and the heck with cleaning, smile.

Are they all patterns made of charms and layer cakes and such? Are there any artsy quilts, applique, stuff like that?

I recently got some other quilting magazine and couldn't find one quilt I liked either. In fact, I'm trying to figure out why I bought it, an issue from 2012 -- so I must have saw something I liked, or they sent me the wrong issue.

Yessss...mine came yesterday. It was a gloomy, cloudy, windy day. How lovely to be able to sit and enjoy the bright colors and the heartwarming stories. I had already made several of her quilts from the online videos. They were easy and turned out great. The quality of the Block bookazine is fabulous, all color, heavy paper, and NO ads. It IS the only
subscription I have now. Had already cancelled all the others because of never ending ads and being mostly rehash of old patterns. It's truly worth the price!

Same here, well worth the wait, happpppppppppy . LOVE MSQC.
