mobile ap info - found it....almost looks like the old board
 

Found it trying to set up my phone.on the very bottom of the page is a default button,click on mobile, this will make your screen look almost like the old board. very easy to navigate.
When you want to look at another thread just click on Quilting board in upper left hand corner.Best thing is the background is NOT white:)
This will work for reading and posting in the threads. If you want to post pic or check on your blog you need to hit the default again for Full Screen. This will take you back to the regular forum.

I like it. So simple and fast.

The mobile App is great! I always had a difficult time trying to read the old board on my phone.

I guess I didn't explain this right. What I meant to say was, try this on your regular computer.It changes your computer screen.

At this point I too still preferr the former layout. Am having hard time to navigate around that I get to a point of giving up. Not right... Just had to vent..

Ok, I couldn't figure out what everyone was complaining about with the new board. I thought it looked as it always did. Now I know. I went to the bottom of the page and instead of default I hit mobile. Now I have this horrible white screen that is so bright I almost need my sunglasses. Now there is no default setting at the bottom of my page. How do I get it back?

I'm already in "default"....screen is still to bright...any other options?

Are you in the mobile style though??? you have to click on the default and than select mobile.

I just did this and much prefer it. Like the yellow background much better. I don't have a mobile but this is better on my computer. Thanks for the tip

I just realized that the Mobile format is driven by V Bulletin, not Internet brands.

Oh, I agree, when you click on the MOBIL app it makes it so much easider to read AND find things AND navigate.

actually if you want to go back you have to hit FULL SITE not full screen

Even when I it full site it does't take me back to the default view, what am I doing wrong?

I'm having the same problem, and now I can't get to the settings page to change it back to the regular view. Don't like the mobile look. I like the regular view look! Can someone help?

I hate this new format. I don't have a problem with change as long as it improves things but I don't have time to spend all day trying to hunt for the topics that I am interested in. I learned a lot from this board. I looked forward to see what everyone was talking about each day. This new format is disappointing to say the least and I won't be spending my time here.

I am loving the mobile apps view!!!! there is a black icon in the corner that you can choose pictures and all kinds of stuff...also you can see all of your posts and threads that you commented on in your profile. Much better!!! I may just get use to this...

My background does not change on mobile. Only a couple of the posts turn yellow/cream. What else do I need to do?

Ugh...the mobile view is horrible on my computer! I darned near had a panic attack trying to figure out how to switch it back. It didn't change the white background at all, other than to stretch it completely across my screen. I finally figured out to click "Full Site" at the bottom of the page. Phew!

I am looking for the mobile app info for my IPad.
I am double checking, what is it called and can i get it through Amazon? Itunes?

If you go to the very bottom of the page on the left hand side you can switch to mobile app'

There is no mobile app. You can change the setttings to "mobile" under your general settings here. Be careful though, it's a pain to change it back! I never did figure it out. I only lucked out because it came up with the "default" setting (the original look) on my ipad, and I went back to my settings and re-set it again just to be sure it would stay that way on my computer!

The mobile view is at the very bottom of the page on the left side. the is an arrow that you need to click on that says default. one you click on that...go to the top of the page and click on the black icon that looks like it has 3 sheets on it...from thee click on what you would like to go to ...like Albums..in albums you click on the one you would like to view twice than there is a button that says next. click on it and you will see the pictures on that persons album.

if only the background was that beige/yellow color it would not be too hard....i am frustrated with it with all the side advertisements too...just going to have to learn it and want to stick to it.

Didn't work for me. It just sent me to a page I get at least 85% of that time that says, "Invalid Forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator." I can't view most posts, I can't post pics, and if anyone knows how I can resolve this, I'd sure love to know. Not that I can access any answers or anything, but still. *sigh*

Thank you! It's better, but I still see white background except for the quoted parts, and the high contrast hurts my eyes. I know it's common all over the Internet, but when you have something that's better than most, why change it?!

What about links - where people posted where you could find tutorials on the internet - not necessarily on this site.
I'm still trying to figure this out - I don't care for it, but.......I've always liked change, but it would have to be an improvement.
