moda ABC panel

1 Attachment(s)
I purchased this moda ABC panal in Paducah Kentucky on a trip this past summer. I have been busy, doing trupunto on each of the letters. I am just about done and realize the lady cut my panal wrong.... she cut it with the ABC square at the end of the row instead of the beginning..... all my rows are off A B ABC
D E C
G H F
etc.... I am so upset.... any suggestions... I will probably have to cut it with seams in between the rows, but there are little white lines that will be impossible to match ( well not impossible, but time consuming... ugh) guess I should have watched her closer.

Suggestions welcome.

Sorry, but I'm not seeing the problem.

If she cut it one over, so that A was in the upper left corner, you'd have
AB ABC
DEC
GHF
JKI
.......and so on

Plus you've got Z in the bottom right hand corner.
Where it should be.

But do I love the idea of trapunto-ing all the letters.
I working on something similar.

I agree. I don't see anything wrong with it at all. It looks great as is it. I wouldn't change it.

I think it's perfect. To me, the ABC would have to go in one corner or the other since 26 isn't divisible by 3. I think she did it right.

I don't understand the problem either.

ditto from me. the trapunto will give a good tactile sense to the project.

I agee, I don't see a problem. It appears to be cut correctly. Unless the picture you posted in not of your panel.

I think you should cut the panels apart and put into the correct order. You could sash them back together or just sew them back in order. JMHO

What? I'm not seeing or understanding what you're talking about either. It looks fine to me.

I think what the OP is saying is that it was cut to close the letters on the right hand side and it is also squew whiff as the seam allowance is not equal.

The only thing I could suggest is using a black border as close to the boxes as possible and making it the same on both sides... I hope that makes sense.
