I love Moda fabrics. Sell it I'm my Etsy shop and it sells pretty quick.

I've used a couple of the free patterns from Moda Bake Shop and they're very easy to understand. I've also used some Moda fabric but it is a little pricey. It's good quality though.

SharonLynn 02-09-2012 09:20 AM

I am another fan of Moda, they have a lot to choose from.

RDM 02-09-2012 09:28 AM

I love Moda fabrics and have bought a lot in the past. Have not used their patterns. As for price, they are average LQS price (here $10.50) and I've found them to be good quality fabrics.

I would Build a Nest and Live in Moda!!!!!! I would work for Free for Moda!! Wonderful Fabric and their patterns are great too!!

Moda is usually good quality and consistent. I've used it for several projects.

I had heard that there was a short period of time recently when they were using a different weave (lighter), but have gone back to their original product weight due to customer feedback.

It was my fabric of choice when I first began quilting. Today I still love Moda but buy it only on sale in various stores and online.

gollytwo 02-09-2012 12:32 PM

Moda does not sell retail
Prices will vary depending on your source - their fabric is on the higher price scale

The patterns available at Moda's website are free. And, they're very good.

I love Moda fabric. It is not the least expensive fabric, but the quality is exceptional.

duckydo 02-09-2012 08:05 PM

I love Moda fabric, very good quality, but it can be pricey, but some others are too.

BETTY62 02-09-2012 08:26 PM

I love Moda fabric but it is a little pricey. I have never used their patterns.

gzuslivz 02-09-2012 08:39 PM

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Moda fabric and patterns. I don't find Moda fabric any more expensive than other brand name fabric. You can find precuts on sale online. I believe that Moda fabric is a superior product and I have never been disappointed.

Karen1956 02-10-2012 04:00 AM

I LOVE Moda fabric. I've never had any problems with it and it quilts like a dream.

stchenfool 02-10-2012 05:06 AM

I use Moda, and love the feel of their fabric. I would say their fabric is in line price wise with other companies. Guess it depends on what you like;

Elaine433 02-10-2012 05:34 AM

I have bought Moda fabrics and they are very nice BUT they are also the most advertised and you are paying for that. They seem to have more variety than other brands. I think my favorite, as far as quality and weight, is Blue Hill. I notice the difference in quality fabrics. Now I try to stick to Blue Hill, Andover, Windham and Marcus. I should also say that my favorite is reproduction prints from the 1930's and Civil War. All of these brands seem to have the quality and prints that I like the best.

You can also open Chefs link and see lots of things each contributor (Chef) has made. More free patterns.
FREE is the best kind to use.

I buy a lot of Moda Fabric and have used their patterns. Have never been disappointed.

charmpacksplus 02-10-2012 07:11 AM

Moda is what I use most of the time:-)

matraina 02-10-2012 07:51 AM

The Moda Bakeshop patterns are free and quite cute.

Nolee 02-10-2012 11:23 AM

I buy Moda all the time. The feel is exquisite and I buy it at Thousandsofbolts.com. It may not be the most up-to-date fabrics but they are beautiful. The price runs around $5.00 a yard for most. As long as I like it, doesn't matter to me if it is current or not.

wvdek 02-10-2012 12:53 PM

I cannot afford it often, but I do love their fabric. When Eddie used to be on here often, he used their fabirc alot and he had some of the prettiest quilts and color combos.

mucky 02-10-2012 03:38 PM

I don't think it is any higher than any good quality fabric and I have had some of theirs that is not the highest quality.

johnniesgirl 02-10-2012 05:42 PM

I love Moda fabric and whenever I can, I prefer to use it because the quality is wonderful.

patdesign 02-10-2012 06:19 PM

Yes and I love the quality of Moda fabrics. They also offer many free patterns on their website.
