Since you pointed it out I can see what you mean, but it's not what I see unless I look for it.
When the quilt is in use you won't be looking at the whole thing like that - the sides will be hanging over the sides of the bed, or it will be on top of someone on the couch or folded on a chair. I'm guessing that you won't see it once it's off your design wall. |
If your a Whovian you can look at it as a double heart.

I think it looks like two digitized butterflies sitting side by side.

you wont see it when its on the bed. Toss a foot blanket or a foot quilt at the bottom if you do. It really is gorgeous.

Or owl eyes. Pretty whatever you see

Yes, I see him too. I like the choices you made for the borders. I love bargellos, they are so diverse.

Oh, yes, now that you mention it. But I see the corners of his mouth turning up, too. I think the others are correct that, once it's on the bed, you won't necessarily see that. Maybe it's kinda like most days--a bit of frown and a bit of smile?? Love your quilt though.

You are all so sweet to help me see the bright side of my alien/monster. I have pretty much decided on my borders and I will turn it 90 degrees when I use it. Both decisions have calmed my initial reaction. Thanks for all of your thoughts. I was a bit creeped out to have spent so much time on this and then had a "face" that surprised me.
I should have the borders on today and will post the results on Pictures. Thanks again, everyone. :) Dina |
Lol. Glad you solved your problem. What occurred to me was to turn it, but others already thought of that. It's beautiful and will look wonderful on your bed. Enjoy it!
