I've never heard of this but just found one in my area. Not sure how it works but I guess I'll find out. Thanks for letting us know about it.

Looks as if you are going to have many busy hours quilting with all that fabric.
Being new to quilting I am completely confused as to how you get free fabric, as I have already spent hundreds of dollars buying all kinds of fabric, including batiks.
I am really looking forward to enjoy the creation of many quilted items.

If that is M&M fabric in the first picture, you have a goldmine. That is sought after fabric, for a good penny. It is all BEAUTIFUL fabric. You are indeed lucky!

I was just introduced to Freecycle. I simply love it. Last time I traded with someone in my area, I also received some fabric. I had "gifted" something else, but included that I am a quilter and would like any amount of unused fabric.

This is a wonderful site....being able to recycle!!!

I have been searching for "coffee" fabric in my area (which, admittedly, is a small area with the closest Walmart 40 minutes away and of course I work in the opposite direction) and here you find it in freecycle!! We are doing a Ladies Event in June with a coffee theme and I wanted to make some mug rugs with coffee print material. Lucky lucky you!! I see lots of fun in those pics!!! Can't wait to hear what you do with some of them.
