I'm so sorry to hear about Ms. Bernina. You have to be careful with these 'modern' doctors. They may tell you that she won't survive and will want to sell you a newer model. Just bring her home and find someone who repairs antique machines.

Hope your Bernina gets back to speed quickly. Bought my first Bernina in May of 1968 & it got sick about 8 years ago. It would have been costly to fix. Waited a few years & bought a new one. I knew I wanted another Bernina & that was the way it would be. Even my serger is by Bernina. Would love to have another serger like the one I have just so I don't have to change thread color. ohhh nooo poor thing, bless her heart. and the medical bills for sure will be quite spendy, you may need to buy lots of things for her to play with when she gets home. keep her full of joy so she does not relasps.... (((hugs)))

You can't kill a Bernina. I willhave a Mass said for her speedy recovery.

I have a friend who bought a Bernina like hermother's at a thrift store to use it for parts. They don't make parts for hers anymore.

I am so sorry to hear that Miss Bernina has been admitted to ICU. I wish her all the blessings for a full and speedy recovery. I will go to the flower shop tomorrow and have some tulips delivered. I hope that the doctors can fix her up as good as new and fast. Now....I am sorry, but I CANNOT hold the laughter in any longer....HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I loved how you did your story.
