Got mine today and I was so impressed with the weight and quality of the paper. It is like a book. All the patterns I've see already but like others, I like a paper copy.

You could purchase 1 mag to see if you like it. If you do a subscription, you can 'pause' at any time. Modern fabrics will change the look of nearly any pattern from traditional to modern. This has the clearest directions of any quilt magazine I have seen. Also shows close-ups of diff. steps. Well worth the $5.99 price.

I received mine yesterday and was so impressed. The photos are excellent and the quality of the paper is unlike any "magazine" I have ever seen. Like some else stated, it is more like a book. Jenny has outdone herself again!!

I got my book the other day, and I love it. I posted on here about it, but for some reason it was removed. I have never seen such a beautiful magazine. I am so glad I subscribed to it.

Since the first issue has already gone out and the only way to get volume 1 is to order it from Mo* and pay the $5 shipping fee, my suggestion is to buy the Electronic version you can down load to your computer or tablet. It is only $4.99. I bought both, since my print copy hasn't arrived yet and I was dying to see it! Here is the link: http://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop/...4-vol1-issue-1

This first book is a compilation of their tutorials and the patterns are simple, I don't think you would have a hard time at all. I think the patterns lean more to the traditional side. I really like the book, I read it cover to cover, the stories for each quilt are really fun and the book is really beautiful, very nice paper and the pictures are gorgeous. If cost is a problem, look at their tutorials on-line.

I am still waiting for my copy...I could have driven to their store and picked one up at this rate......I really want the hard copy of the tutes on the computer...never know about computers....but a hard copy is forever!

The patterns in the magazine are same ones as tutorials. The content supplements the video tutorials.

My copy arrived yesterday, and it was a REAL pleasure to leaf through each page and see the beautiful photos. I have already spotted some patterns I want to make, smile. The contents pages are just as lovely, too. The directions are nice and clear. Tutorials can be considered as a supplement to the issues. Confident beginners as well as seasoned quilters will enjoy this magazine. Enjoy!
