I made one a couple of years ago and use it all the time - think I found the instructions on YouTube. I looked at one of the above linked pictures and recommend not using the one that shows pockets on the outside with holes in it - because if you put small scissors, seam rippers, pens, etc. (like I do) in those pockets, they would come through some of those holes.

Looks pretty handy & easy to make. Think I will make me one & a couple for gifts. Thank you everyone for the different options!

The pockets on the inside keep the rug from falling off. You need then to place counter weight for the outside.
