Mug Sewing Caddy

I was in JoAnn today and I bought a big Christmas Mug. I thought it would be cute to make sewing caddies for my sewing sisters. I found a few on Pinterest but mostly already make for sale, or a few patterns that looked hard to do. Does anyone have an easy one for a large mug?

Are you looking for a notions-holder that will fit into the mug, or what?

I thing you want to watch this You Tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eecHfZ-h9dI. It's a Fave Crafts Mug Organizer.

Never heard of a mug caddy either but here are clear instructions on how to make one:

It is sort of a skirt that has pockets that goes around the mug. CUTE !!

That look's like a great idea for Christmas gifts.

I found this one which is kind of neat. Once you understand the basic principle, you can adjust the size to any mug. This would be a really cute teacher's gift. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByH...zJi/view?pli=1

After reading thru the directions again, I would omit the pockets inside the cup. I think that just fills the cup with fabric. But I do think I will try one just to see if it works.

I have one and to be honest use it mostly to hold my cutters etc. but my friend uses hers for all the marking pencils etc. that she has and does use the pockets on the inside as well as the outside.
