I love seeing all the old sewing machines members post and feel their excitement having them! So I want to share with you my Mom's sewing machine which I now own. I've named her "Tootsie" in honor of my Mom. She was a wonderful sewer and I learned from her on this machine. "Tootsie" hasn't been used in many years and I think I will have her services this year. She gives me wonderful memories of my Mom. Miss her dearly.
I know there are a lot of pictures, but I just wanted to show your all the treasures I have from Mom. ID Number Tootsie Tootsie Mom put Tootsie in new cabinet years later |
What a nice machine! I'm sure once you have her up and running she will give you lots of pleasure!!

Thanks for sharing "Tootsie" with us. She looks a lot like the one I found for my friend to restore. Where did you get the info from the Singer Sewing Company. I'd like to be able to get that same info for her. Appreciate any help.

I love all the pictures and know just how you feel. I have my grandmothers 1937 Singer, in cabinet, similar to yours. I used to use it to make clothes, many years ago. Sweet memories of my grandmother. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.
