This is VERY pretty...YOU did great! There is tacking if you don't have a way to hand or know someone to machine quilt it for you. This is beautiful...I think you want to have it machine quilted if you have NO frames or room to hand quilt. I'm too slow and old..with these hands to hand quilt anymore.

Very pleasing design. I just purchased the book, could not resist. I am surprised you could get the similar fabric colors from the book. Is there a suggestion in the book for quilting?

I think it is a great idea to patch together leftovers to make the back. Maybe some large block 9 patch would look good and compliment the front. If your pieces would be large enough for squares of 4 1/2 inch to make 12 in blocks or 5 1/2 for 15 in. How wide and long what size would divide out? Or maybe some 9 patch and some log cabin or rail fence in between.

I think a nice winding cable for the border. Inside I would try to link the blocks to emphasize the brown turquoise pattern you have going.Maybe one pattern through the brown blocks and anothe through the turquoise.
