Thank you so much for that story - it was great. Hope to hear about the mail hit list and your friend's turn. You should see if you can get that published - funny and suspensful. :)

That was a GREAT mystery. You should write them!

You are absolutely amazing. When is your book coming out? With a talent like yours I can only imagine what you will come up with next. Thanks for making my day! I loved this story. Now, the most important question: How does this work for male quilters?

Book or no book, you have quite a talent there. You could just publish short stories. I used to love to write short stories myself, but now I dedicate myself to quilting. That's my current creative outlet. I really look forward to reading a lot more of your work. Keep it up!!!

just too funny, loved the story, waiting for the next chapter!!

sewnsew 08-04-2010 11:31 AM

What a great story ! You should write for a quilting magazine. You'd have a lot of followers waiting to read each month's story.

So Funny, the story was so descriptive my imagination was seeing bolts of rainbow colors.

Aully 09-01-2010 11:45 AM

OMG Love it, you should start your own novel or see if you can put this in the Chicken Soup for the Quilters Soul book if there is 1 or you could make 1. lol!

sewmuchmore 09-01-2010 12:02 PM

Ahhhhhhhhh! You were the lady in front of me when our local fabric closed. I wondered what the GF badge stood for. Now I know where all those bolts that I was coveting went.

I will be keeping a closer look out next time - be careful, very careful! ROFL

Tussymussy 09-02-2010 02:16 AM

oops did not proof read that and should be local fabric store closed! LOL

Lynnejean 09-02-2010 06:34 AM

Look out Sue!!! An invisible shield came with the GF badge and I can slip in under your nose and buy all the fabric and with no guilt! :-)LOL

rainbowquilt 09-02-2010 07:20 AM

Thanks that is GREAT! ROFLMAO

Joan 09-02-2010 07:24 AM

THAT made my day........

(I would suggest you write a book but all of us are too busy sewing and buying fabric to do that...... )

You got that right!

Tussymussy 09-03-2010 03:12 AM

My excuse for buying more for my stash, specially if it is not desperately important for the current project is that the house needs more insulation.

My home is a Victorian, built of local granite which is very difficult to add insulation to without making the rooms way smaller. So, additional roof and outside insulation can be added by my neat piles of my stash........ ergo problem solved.

Gorgeous DH was left speechless!!!!!

Good writing!
I couldn't quit until I got to the end.
I really enjoyed your narrative - - lots of suspense, moving right along, with just the right amount of description ...
Reading your testimony was time well-spent <wave>

Lynnejean 09-08-2010 11:19 AM

Thank you so much!! I am just a beginner writer. :-) You made my day!
