Google Carol Doak...tons of paper piecing on her site (I think that's one of hers). Also Quilters Cache has them.

Carol Doak has a Yahoo Group you can join, and get tons of free pp block patterns, as well as help and advice. I tried to post a link here but it wouldn't go through.

Sorry you couldn't post her link. But knowing she has a site, makes me want to do some research and find it! My first PP was one of her patterns - it was such fun!

Yes, this pattern is under free patterns on Carol Doak's website, and the name of block is 700 Celebration I think.

If you are a member of Yahoo in any way, you can search for Carol's Group on Yahoo by going to the Groups link. If you don't have a Yahoo log-on, you can get one easily.

you did a wonderful job and I like the block!! keep up the good work.

One block pattern at a time, one block at a time. It'll go easier if you break it down to its individual steps. Look at each tree one at a time, not the entire forest.

That is beautiful, I learned to quilt doing pp and it took me a long time to make me cut and piece blocks. I was just too comfortable doing the paper piecing.
