Yeap. I'm going to use cowgirls idea and put it all in a clear container for decoration. :thumbup:

Great! Funny thing is that I just yesterday got some clear jars at the store to put buttons in. Well, in giving my suggestion to you I realized what I can do with my late mother's notions. Went back to the store today & picked up a couple more of the jars. :D

These sewing notions were important to someone, how nice that they continue to be special to you.

I have a tan one just like it that was my grandmother's. I expect it is from the 50's or 60's. I have a lot of old notions that were stuffed in grandma's sewing machine drawers as well as all of her sewing boxes. I filled a ball jar with trinkets, such as, barbie doll shoes, little toy soldiers, things that I am sure the grandchildren left behind. Don't you just love the stories these treasures can tell!
