I did find a yard sale today. I've never had an actual sewing box and found this today for $4. I don't know how old it is but everything in it sais made in the U.S.A. Must be old. There is a wooden round needle holder that sais 1910. I almost hate to take all the antiques out to put my stuff in it. I've been sewing for 11 years and can't believe this is my first. Oldie but goodie

Get a clear glass canister to put the old notions in. That way you can keep a part of sewing history, and use your "new to you" sewing box :)

What a cute box, looks like it's great shape!! I really need to get out and go garage saling! I work until 8 a.m. Sat mornings though so I always feel like by the time I'm done working and feed everybody and get dressed, all the good stuff would probably be gone already! Maybe next weekend....
