My Longarm is here!
Finally happened! I've had her since July 27th. Yay!!!

I decided on an Innova M20 a little smaller than the M24. I'm short so the M20 is a good size for me. I also have the Autopilot. I've done one real quilt and several practice ones. I thought this would be a lot of fun, instead I've found it to be a lot of work!!! The learning curve just likes to take its time. However, I'm happy to say I have completed an edge to edge design with the robotics on the quilt I mentioned. Wow!!! This comes from someone who did not know a thing about longarming. I am happy!!!

Well, do show and tell! I want to see both your machine and your finished quilt! So happy for you, too.https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png

Yes, it is a lot of work. It'll take some time to learn it, but I suspect you will really enjoy long arm quilting.
|
Glad you are happy with your decision! enjoy the fun it will bring!

Congratulations and post pics of the new set up and your quilt when you gt a chance!

Congratulations on your new toy...there is a learning curve but it sounds like you have it under control. Can’t wait to see some of your projects.

That's awesome! Congrats!
Have you done all your practice with the Autopilot or have you done some free-hand/hand controlled? If the former, wow, jumping in with both feet! I've tried a 22 "classic" Innova but not the M20. Wondering if they feel much different. |
Sooooo jealous! Congrats on your new toy!

Welcome to the world of longarming! I'm sure you'll have fun. It sounds like you're off to a great start.
