I hit it so hard that part fly off that way I just go get another one.....
But no I do not recommend hitting a machine only if you need to get something really stubborn out of it like the main shaft of something like that. Billy |
There has been times I have felt like hitting anything within range. Hammer, pot, car you get the idea. I have to remember if I do that I could spend time in jail with no scissors or needles much less a sewing machine.
Temper - Temper. Really I would like for my Kenmore not to sew in reverse all the time. |

i have a viking designer one, last winter, 2 weeks before christmas my machine did the same thing...got stuck in reverse...no amount of 'fiddling' worked for me...i called the dealer, they made it sound like a HORRIBLE, EXPENSIVE problem...so i waited till January, found a place a little closer than the dealer and sent it in to them to check it out...they cleaned it (there was alot of lint built up, even though i am pretty diligent about cleaning it between bobbins) as soon as he had it cleaned it started working fine again...not an expensive fix but a wake up call...

Already oiled runs so smooth-backwards. Will try taking top off. Thanks for the help.
