I had to reorganize my playroom to accommodate my new toy, Janome 300. It's not a real big room, but, it beats working off the kitchen table like I use to do years ago when all 3 kids were living at home. And the best part of it is, It's All Mine To Play In All By Myself!!!!!

Green with envy....:) Very nice...all my stuff is my bedroom right now..Cramped, but at least I'm sewing....

ME too. My dining room table and half of a closet(the other half is taken because of the need of more headroom on the setps going downstairs) is all I have. boo hoo . but it is snowing again ad I am happy

Wow!! How nice for you. I wish I had wall space for some pegboard and a design wall. Am going to try making one to hang over my bifold doors that can be taken down and rolled up.

Nice. I have a fairly large space full of bins and my table isn't high enough but it's pretty nice. Lots of windows for light BUT there is no room for my design wall.

Very nice, I love my sewing room glad I don't have to use the kitchen table any more.

I use the dining room. Works for me if I can leave my stuff out, but sometimes have family dinners and have to clean up and put away.

And yes, I did cover the chair with fabric that has sewing machines on it, otherwise, it would be gray and that didn't fit in with my "Decor" ha ha!

Fortunately for me the answer is mostly yes. I love to be organized and I love to do organizing. It's one of my flaws!! ha ha

I have posted quite a few in the past few months, however, I now have to get back to work and get some more done. The quilt you see laying on the table has been there for a couple of weeks waiting to be quilted but I got side-tracked with the re-arraigning project. I started quilting it this morning. Have to get it in the mail for my grandson's BD on 2-16.

I have heard of children having "Play dates", can we have a quilting play date? Your room is just wonderful and will lead, I'm sure to many many hours of creativity! Happy sewing!

All our kids have left the nest, so I took one room upstairs and made it my sewing room. My husband wants to add shelves in the room for me to store items and fabrics on. I told him I rather clean out the walk in closet and use that..then my room will be plenty big enough and not cluttered. The walk-in closet is 6 feet wide by the length of the house. We can walk into it via one bedroom door and walk out the other bedroom door.
