It was an honor to see your quilt in person when it came to California! Thanks for entering and allowing it to go on tour so those of us 'across the pond' could see it! If I ever made anything so beautiful I might have a hard time letting it out of my sight!

You are heartly invited!

Oh, Me too, me too!! I will be in Germany in early May on an Eastern Europe double cruise with Princess. I congratulate you on your incredible hand-quilting! And also so happy you have gotten your quilt back safely. I had one juried into an art gallery exhibit in 2001 (in Colorado), and never got it back once it was mailed! In fact, the picture is my "avatar".

I needed about half a year to complete that quilt - 6 to 8 hours per day. The background quilting was quite time consuming - but to see how it turned out was fun!

Congrats, Kutnso

I live in the Northern part of Germany, the northernmost federal state called Schleswig-Holstein. Hamburg is about 45 km south-west from here and we can reach the Baltic Sea in a one hour drive.
One of my cousins lives near Kaiserslautern with his family.
