Always good to marry a handyman.......Lucky you, looks like he's made to order. Enjoy your new table. It looks fantastic!
Your descriptions were great. You're lucky that your DH is so talented and willing to make this for you. It's perfect. Tell him he did a great job for his lovely DW.

great table

good job, now that's a workable table. Barb

Great design! Your dh was a darling to build it for you (although I am guessing you could have done a pretty good job yourself, judging by the house remodel)
What part of Ontario are you in??? |
Lucky for you; you have a great sewing table AND a great husband. I'd love to have that with one addition: a slide out board on the left to hold the weight of the quilt while I work.
You are very lucky to have that handy husband. And you don't look like a slouch in that department based on the pictures I've seen. Happy sewing! |
Wow I love your new table! I'm looking for the perfect table too! What material did your DH use to make the extension, is it ply or MDF? Did he use a piano hinge? What did he use to make it stay up?
Does he have plans for this? Great idea.
Wow! That is so nice and roomy, and the drop leaf in the back is genius. You have a VERY good hubby!
My Dh can't do anything with wood but he can fix my car. LOL I would love to have a table like that.
lovely table for sewing on :)
That is beautiful!! Sure wish you lived around here!
Great job. Love the extension part!
Obiously, he could sell them as fast as he made them but producing plans could also work. It may be a unexpected source of income. My husband and I built a couple of houses and he was also a woodworker but has been dead now for 20 years. I know you appreciate your new table.
