Love your fabric choices. Whatever you make out of them will be beautiful. Enjoy the process!!

Ok your fabric is beautiful. I'm looking for something like that to make a Christmasy quilt.

Annie Unrein of www.byannie.com has a free pattern called "Wickedly Easy" quilt. It uses FQs, and you figure 1 FQ equals 1 block. I used the pattern to teach some co-workers to quilt, and they turned out very nice.

Beautiful fabrics! Hope you will show us whatever you make with it.

I love the fabrics. I would do a log cabin. That was my first thought. I think it will be so pretty

love the idea of a log cabin. I made one and it turned out beautifully.

Some of the designs in M'Liss Rae Hawley's "Fat Quarter Quilts" should work. Just use the assorted lights and darks instead of all the same "background". Good Luck!

You could do a Turning 20/12. I have done a few of these with 12 FQ & they are a great size. Large sofa quilt & could even be a twin size topper.

Create your own pattern. If not sure, start with a DNP (disappearing 9 patch) using fabric in separate blocks. Sash and you've got a beautiful lap quilt, or it may grow to a lap plus 1 or 2 wall hangings, or even a full size quilt. Never hesitate. Just start doing it. I find much enjoyment of creating my own patterns, especially when I ask the Lord God Almighty to help me. We work together as a team - a great way to start and finish your project. Oftentimes I change the design in the middle of my project because He suggests a better way. The end result is always beautiful! Enjoy!
