Unfamiliar with the pattern but I love it, especially in the navy and white.

i definitely love this! I have one similar book-marked called "Arlington". How wide will the little strips (rails) be? can't wait to make this one!! Very striking in a classic, elegant kind of way.

I decided to make it easy on myself-the rail blocks need to be 2 1/2" wide unfinished. I cut the 3 strips 1 1/4" wide, sewed them together, and then trimmed less than 1/8" off each of the white sides-helped square them up, as well.

Here is a link to a photo of what I did....

Alright. I am on board!! I love it. Hopefully, someone will find the pattern, or create one! Let us know how it comes out.

Have no idea on the name, but to me it looks like a disappearing 9 patch variation. My photoshop skills aren't great, but this is what I'm thinking. Start with this block

Cut along red lines

turn all outside pieces two times & sew back together.

looks like a clever short cut, but for me to make it I will need sizes of each square? I hope that someone will come up with a pattern to replicate, I am trying to figure out the size of the white fabric in this graph?
