I don't have access to a local quilt shop and the closest one is two and half hours from me and I choose not to shop there. The one I use is in southern Ontario, I bought my Grand Quilter from them. The Quilter's Choice and they are in Kingston, Ontario.
I email them, and they send me stuff...I love it! lol :) |
We have many shops here in Phx. AZ. The biggest with 15,000 bolts is 35th Ave Sew and Vac. It is a real treat to go thru. Sections for 30.s and 1800,s. Even one for Thimbleberries. It is big and even has a large selection of long arm machines set up to demo. They do repairs and sell used and new machines.
But like most shops it is expensive so do most of my fabric buying on line now. |
Hmmm, that's tough because I actually have 2 that I love, one to the east of me and one to the west. They are:
Pinwheel Fabrics in Alexander, AR Hickory Hill Sewing Center in Hot Springs, AR |

We use to live in Livermore. I miss all those quilt shops. Cotton Patch was actually at the Ontario Road2Ca quilt show. They were also always at Asilomar for the retreat. Is there a Thimble creek still in Walnut Creek?
