National Quilters Circle ?

Has anyone subscribed to the National Quilters Circle or have any opinions about it? I’ve seen their ads everywhere and is only $4.04 for the first year. While it seems like so little I try to be very careful of which services I purchase. They tend to get out of control for me.

I subscribed for a quilt along one time. I think I looked at the videos, watched a few, then cancelled once the quilt along was over. I'm not much of a video person. If I need to know something, I go to youtube.

Toverly- That’s what I’m wondering too. I’m new and trying to learn everything I can. If the content and quality of the Quilters Circle is good, it would be well worth it to me and I can just cancel. I would just need to deal with more junk e-mail. However, if I can get everything I need from checking this board and YouTube it wouldn’t be worth it. Funny that I’m thinking so much about something that costs less than a cup of coffee.

Thanks for sharing. I have been getting adds for $2 for the first year and thinking about it with all the same concerns about spam and what I can find for free. This and the earlier thread tell me to save my $2.

Thanks for this! I read through the other post you gave - which is about 5 years old now and I guess they just continually recycle and wait for newbies... I pulled one of the links from the prior post and putting it here because it was a good read.

Now that there’s so much more free content now than five years ago, I’m going to hang on tight to these $4. Thank you for the help and hope you have a great holiday weekend.

I got so many annoying emails from them, I just hit the delete button. Didn't sound at all interesting to me. Besides, Youtube is full of great, free videos.

I second the idea of using Yutube, and MSQ tutorials. Lots of info on just about anything you want to know

The NQS bought Crafty/ Bluprint so right now for $3 you can get a year's membership. I joined for the $3 to see how the Bluprint add on will work. If the prices of Crafty notions and fabric stay low with member discounts and sales it will be worth it but if the prices are pushed to the high NQS prices then I won't renew.

Actually, TN Marketing, a marketing company, purchased some of the assets of Bluprint.

One of TN Marketing's other "brands" is National Quilter's Circle.
