I think it is absolutely charming. I like the placement of most of the yellow and white. The only area I might move around is a few of the yellow and white squares right above the critters. I might group the yellows to be more in a line shining down on the animals with the whites on each side. And, a first thought when I saw it was the idea of adding a butterfly or two floating about two-thirds the way up in the sunshine. But, lovely, lovely work.

It looks gorgeous to me..I've always wanted to make one of those quilts but lacked the patience to get started with it. The little "critters" are such a sweet touch!!

Just like you took this pic, I would switch them around several dif ways and take pics. Don't look at the pics for a day, then put all the pics side by side and see which one suits you. Personally I would like to see the yellows more in the middle going down from dark to like, JMHO.

I think it is really beautiful but if you are not completely sure, I like this suggestion. You may see what she is talking about with the yellows...I can only imagine but you have the ability to see it since you didn't sew together yet. So precious!

I also like the yellow just as it is. Your quilt is going to be stupendous - can't wait to see the finished project!

Leave the yellows. They look like rays from the sun. It's adorable!

Bunny and raccoon are painted on separate fabric to be appliquéd after sewing the background together, if I get that far! I was attempting to make it look like the sun is shining on my critters. Do I need to reverse my light and dark yellows? Should the yellows be eliminated altogether? This is the first quilt new quilters should make. I have learned so much about color value with this project. Still, lots more to learn. All suggestions will be appreciated.

I love your sunlight effect. I have been studying water color quilts for a while now, and the only comment I have is if you count four blocks down, and four blocks over, on the upper right, in the photo, there is kind of a "void" space in the branches that immediately caught my eye, with all the beauty you have accomplished, maybe adjust the six squares? That might just might focus your sunbeam better? Just my thought... (And worth every penny you paid for it, right? Lol.)
