jhittlesewing.com also sells needles in bulk. that's where i get my schmetz. generic 45mm rotary blads are $1.49 each if you buy at least 10. they have goooogobs of other things, too.

they sell Red Rooster as well as the General Fabrics fabs. the Red Rooster fabs are LQS quality. they rate 8 or higher on The Famous PatriceJ Snooty Scale. (the General Fabs are/used to be commonly found in Walmart fab departments. they range between 3.27897 and 4.876523)
