Need a catchy name for quilting club
We are starting a Wednesday evening quilt group and I am looking for a catchy name. Any suggestions?
The Stanley Steamers Quilt Club?
Sew it's Wednesday!

Patchy Partners

What region are you in? Anything fun or touristy in your area? Anything common among the group members? You want something fun but sophisticated in case you grow into a full blown guild, so "Hump Day Quilters" is prob out. lol
I like Sew It's Wednesday...very clever! I don't have anything clever to add
The Nutty Knotters.
I used to sew with a group on Wednesday afternoons (although not much sewing got done). We were just known by others in the guild as the Wednesday ladies. Not very imaginative, but descriptive.
Stanley Steamers--that's clever!
Big Apple Betsies. (Like Betsy Ross?) Or Big Apple Betsies of the East (acronym "BABES").
Since Wednesday is hump day I would call it the Calico Camels.

Our group is the "Biddy Buddies" We're a bunch of old biddies who are buddies! We're between about 63 and 82, and our 82 year old probably looks the youngest!
I've always liked 'Clothesline Quilts' as a name. But Stanley Seamers sounds about the best so far!
My group is not original. Ya Ya Sisterhood of Sewers.

I love Stanley Seamers and Calico Camels.

I like Stanley Seamers best of all the ones suggested (even mine). It tells where you are, what you do, and is so clever.
We have a local group that meets at night called Ladies of the Evening
Sassy Strippers

Was at the used bookstore today browsing quilting books and saw a book title "Stitch & B---h".

peace EDIT: I also laughed at sew what!!! Another fun one. |
My friend is in a small group that meets once a month - they do a group donation quilt about every other month but they meet to decide their next pattern and turn in blocks. They usually meet at the pizza parlor after work so they call themselves the Pizza Quilters.
I love "Sew What! "...cause since I am a quilter many people think I can sew...and ask me too... LOL
