Love the look...actually just ordered the ruler!

Scroll down a bit. One of the gals used it on the Round Robin. It is real pretty. The only concern I would have is that it is raw edge and would want it quilted down securely.

OH my this looks very cool! I have seen this technique with paper but not fabric. I am going to have to look for this template.

I think the fusing would prevent any raveling....

The technique was you fused 2 fabrics together right sides facing out then foled it length wise and placed the ruler on the fold and cut slits which when opened created diamond shape cuts that you folded up , it looked like cutouts.

Did it make a braid when you pressed the cuts? If so, I have it!

Sounds like a Double Diamond ruler.
It makes 1.5 and 3.5 double diamonds.
I have used mine to make a table runner and haven't used it again.
The package has a cut Christmas tree quilt block that I would love to find time to make.
Got it last year at the quilt show.

I think it would make darling borders. Am thinking about getting one.

Very interesting ruler and design. thanks for asking about it. I had never seen it before.

Looks really pretty, but I'd be worried about the raw edges. I'd think that anything other than a wall hanging wouldn't last because of the raw edges. Even fused, wouldn't this present a problem or am I over thinking?
