I recently made this top for DD best friend. They are expecting their first child this summer. DD picked out the fabrics from my stash. I like the way it turned out, but cannot decide on a border. What do you think, orange or brown. Don't mind the quilt inspector-she testing the process, sleeping on the job.
Thanks for your input.

I like the orange. Your inspector is doing a good job.

I think the orange makes the inside pop!
Cute fur baby/inspector.

personally I say orange... keep it bright for a kid...then bind in the brown.. the perfect frames!

I like the idea of the orange border and the brown binding. I,ll just add a bit, how about a tiny border of the blue before the orange?

Orange all the way. Love the brightness of it.

I think it would great if you put the orange where the brown is and the brown where the orange is, with mitered corners.

How about a brown border to set it off and then an orange to widen it a little and then a brown binding..... Or a brown border and the smaller print larger border and an orange binding.

Since you have brown and orange on the edges your borders are going to sort of blend into the quilt. I would go with a fairly narrow border of the blue and then a wider border of the print and then bind in the orange.
