I do know that after the bleach incident, the Design-A-Quilt company was sold to another individual, because at the time I was considering buying one of their machines, and I spoke to the new owner over the phone. It's been too long ago and I don't have the phone number now or remember the man's name, sorry.

....boy, does that quote fill in some blanks for me. Our guild had a speaker who's quilt was next to the intended bleach incident--hers was damaged also. When she told us of this, I was thinking, "WOW, this IS a tough business with some wild 'women." Of course I thought it pertained to a jealous competitor....now I find out that it was the machine manufacturer. Shame on him, however, mental anguish set in over business pressures. Hope you get some good information about your machine, and make some beautiful quilts. |
